Where is the Love

I'm always in support of songs that support humanity, that sings about the world. Where is the love by Black Eyes Peas and heal the world by Michael Jackson had always been my favourite. Here's a few special segments of the lyrics of where is the love that I like.
What's wrong with the world mama?
People living like ain’t got no mamas
I think the whole world’s addicted to the drama
Only attracted to the things that bring you trauma
But if you only have love for your own race
Then you only leave space to discriminate
And to discriminate only generates hate
And if you hatin you're bound to get irate
Yeah madness is what you demonstrate
And that's exactly how anger works and operates
You gotta have love just to set it straight
Take control of your mind and meditate
People killing people dying
Children hurtin you hear them crying
Can you practice what you preach
Nations dropping bombs
Chemical gases filling lungs of little ones
With ongoing suffering
As the youth die young
People keep on giving in
Makin wrong decisions
Only visions of them living and
Not respecting each other
Deny thy brother
The war’s  going on but the reason’s  undercover
The truth is kept secret
Swept under the rug
If you never know truth
Then you never know love
Kids wanna act like what they see in the cinema
Whatever happened to the values of humanity
Whatever happened to the fairness and equality
Instead of spreading love, we're spreading animosity
Lack of understanding, leading us away from unity
I gotta keep my faith alive, until love is found
=)

Lucky

Some people never grasp how lucky they are. They had clothes yet they want branded one. They want shoes with the latest technology and design while other children have flatten plastic bottles as slippers. They go overseas every holiday yet they complain they don't have enough money. They had food on their table yet they want to eat in the most exquisite restaurant. I'm not saying we can't enjoy our life and eat and wear the cheapest, but we have got to appreciate what we got, and stop complaining. Be grateful, be contented and never demand for more.
We have food in our tummy, clothes on our body, a roof over our head, school, friends, water, electricity, parents and a healthy body. What more could we possible need? What more could we possibly ask for?

Strong

You know, I used to think he is so strong, nothing can possibly beat him down. He can fix almost anything, he can withstand almost every weather. That's why it feels so uncanny when he looks so weak. I hate it when he has fever, it reminds me that he is still a normal human being, not a superhero like I think he is. He can fix a broken doorknob, can change the position of my celing fan, can fix the sliding glass door that has derailed, can fix leaking pipes, can construct a dressing table for my mum, a bedside table and study table for my sister, can cook marvelous meals, can do housework efficiently, can run over a long distance etcetera etcetera. I'm always amaze by him, always thought how lucky and how blessed I'm to have such a father. :')

Have Had Enough Of

Those teenagers whose behaviour is so childish, yet they still think they are so cool. Those who thinks they rule the world, those who think they are correct in everything, those who always talk bad about people without fully understanding the situation, those who wouldn't accept other people who don't think like them, those who always make small matters big, those who pretend they are best friends, those who love to show off just because of some tiny achievement, or rather, a stroke of luck, those who are over-confident, those who think they are the most perfect people of the world and yes, those girls who think they are oh-so-pretty and all the boys like them and they couldn't walk down the street without causing a car accident and blah blah blah. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, a little bit. It irks me, everytime when they discuss about their so called "love life", about how that boy is chasing her yet she don't like him at all (yet flirting everytime she sees him) and how confused they are by those boys. Well, they should be, seeing how little brains they have. If you are hating me for what I'm writing now, well, I'm sorry to say that you are one of them.
p.s. i feel like i could express more but i really don't know how to put them to words. this isn't even half of my thoughts. this shows how extreme they are.

Little kids who act like they are same age as us. That really turns me off. Like it or not, you gotta admit that kids nowadays are much more disrespectful than kids last time. Kids last time wouldn't dare to contradict whatever you say. They would respond whenever you call out to them. They would say please's and thank you's whenever  they are asking for a favour. When you are giving out some things, they would say thank you instead of grabbing it and walk away. Kids last time ends our name with a 'jie jie' or 'ko ko'. The moral value is degrading so obviously and who is to be blame? The worse part is, they think they can get away with anything by smiling sweetly and blinking their eyes. And if we are not careful, they would end up just like those teenagers mentioned above. I really wouldn't like to imagine that!
Actually all these kids who are disrespectful can be concluded in one word: spoilt.

Therefore that concludes what I and I'm sure, most people who still have a sense in them have had enough of.

Boredom

I try not to let it get to me. I tried entertaining myself. I tried breaking out of my daily routine. I failed. Obviously.

Frustrating

Okay, so you have listen to this song, on the radio, or maybe in one of the tv commercials, or in a movie, and it starts to get stuck in your head. It was okay at first.... because you actually kinda like that song, so you went to the internet, searched and downloaded it, then you listen to it again, sing along with the lyrics and the song is etched into your brain like permanent marker. And you knew you had made the biggest mistake of your life when the song just wouldn't stop playing in your mind. It's actually just fine if it is the whole song that keeps on repeating, but the most annoying part is that it's only that certain part of the song, the certain lyrics (usually the most catchy part) that keeps on repeating and you just simply can't think of any other songs or even any other part of the song! You tried listening to the songs on your computer, you tried playing music from your hand phone, but as soon as the song ended, that song floats back in your mind again, and any other songs just won't seem to stuck in you head. You sighed, you moaned, you tried doing everything you can but the song won't disappear. Worse still, you get your siblings to be thinking of that song too cause you are humming it so frequently! And they start blaming you for that. You thought the song would stop playing after a good night's sleep. So you happily went to bed, bidding your 'goodbye's' to the song and woke up early the next morning with the the song still stuck in your head. You sighed, you moaned, but there's nothing you can do about it.

Nobody's Perfect

Nobody's perfect, you just have to accept that. I know it sounds cliche, but that is the simple truth.

Our lives are surrounded by a constant stream of complaints. By friends, by family, by ourself. Non-stop criticsizing, non-stop blaming. We always blame people for what they haven't do enough, for their bad point. "He/she is too irresponsible." "He/she doesn't care for other people." But maybe behind that irresponsiblity he/she is incredibly helpful, and those irresponsiblity is caused by momentarily memory lapse? Maybe you are labelling him/her for one tiny mistake that he/she has never done before? Wouldn't that be a little bit too unfair? I'm not saying we shouldn't crictisize people at all, people are meant to grow, and improve, and change after all. Still, we must leave them space for breathing, we couldn't expect people to change within 24hr. And on the other hand, we have to accept criticism from other people as well. Although no matter how much we change, we still wouldn't achieve perfection, at least we have tried our best, and at least we are now a better person than who we were.

Oh my god, I just sounded like a 50-year old woman. Maybe I should stop now.
So much time had wasted for typing that small piece of article. What I was actually trying to express is that how we always talk bad about other people, or even close friends behind their back, and we really should stop it because someone is doing the exact same thing about us as well. But who ever could resist a juicy bit of gossip shared over the cafeteria table, especially if they are about their foes?

And that just concludes 'nobody's perfect.'
